Familiar Faces

Amrik "Ricky" Vadera — he
A clever, curious mortal with a knack for attracting supernatural attention—and occasionally trouble—Ricky is an Indian-British expat student at UBC. He is good-looking and well-dressed, and he knows it.

Bobby Strumpf — she
A woman of few words, Bobby is a bike mechanic who owns her own shop in Kitsilano. She is a big, butch white woman in her 50s and is the adopted daughter of a Bieresel; she wears a gold wedding band on a short silver chain necklace.

Camila Chimal — she
A gregarious young woman who works as a graphic designer by day and a server at Elysium by night, and does it all with nu goth style. She is Mexican-Canadian and was born a Tlahuelpuchi after inheriting the curse from her mother.

Ethan Adamsky — he
An excitable mortal who is Step's classmate at VCC. He is a full-time wheelchair user and has a vast collection of novelty t-shirts. He is wiry, tanned, and cuts his own hair, with questionable results.

Grace Kim — she
Grace is a young mother of two and a founding member of the Concerned Parents Coalition. Do not be fooled by her high ponytail and lululemon activewear; she is ruthless in pursuit of her goals, and more aware of the supernatural than she should be.

Henry Monette — he
A soft-spoken and diligent mortal librarian at VPL who is friends with Thomas and always willing to help the Woven Band find what they are looking for. He is short and wears eyeglasses with dark frames and thick lenses, and is always neat and professional in dress.

James Dou — he/they
Appears to be a Chinese-Canadian paramedic in his early to mid 30s, but since he is descended from a Fuzhu, no one knows quite how old he is. He is kind and funny, but does not suffer fools who endanger themselves or others.

Joyce Jacobs — she
Her friends call her Joy and know her to have a generous spirit; people who make trouble in her hospital know her to be a formidable enemy. She is a middle-aged Métis woman, a director of nursing at St. Paul's, and aen forr di michinn—a wise woman.

Sage — they
A gentle mortal tattoo artist and piercer with The Sight. Highly sought-after for their skill in serving clientele with horns, scales, tales, wings, etc. They are a Black Indigenous non-binary person with prismatic rainbow locs.

Sana Hasan — she
A mortal Iranian-Canadian chemistry student at UBC who is friendly with both Alexandra and Dee. She believes in pharmacology as a way to better the world, and she always accessorizes her hijab with beautiful brooches.

New NPCs

Felix Sotelo — he
A young Mexican-Canadian university student in unfashionable eyeglasses and a pocket protector. He is a narcoleptic dream-walker who only recently discovered his powers, and he always looks at least a little tired.

Lapis — she
A solitary faerie not aligned with any Court. She looks like a young woman with intensely saturated blue hair and eyes and is usually seen walking Goma the church grim.

"Possum" — she
The titular scrappy, grunge-punk fairy of The Changeling's City Alchemy. She has solidly dark eyes behind blue John Lennon glasses and furry pointed ears; while rough around the edges, she is friendly with like-minded folk.

standard_bearer — ?
The anonymous author of A Blog of One's Own. A mortal with some awareness of the supernatural world, standard_bearer seeks the truth behind the veil.

Tilsim — he
The proprietor of Tilsim's Tincturing is a charming peri who looks like a handsome, clean-cut Turkish man with feathered wings.

Yoya — she
An information broker who snags the best spot at the Goblin Market, Yoya is a beautiful black woman with a shaved head and blue vitiligo.
